      Because it has been removed from its source.

      Because they store it in plastic - which, after a certain amount of time, leaches impurities into the water.
      If you want really good water, get a reverse osmosis water filter. That’s the way most of the bottled water distributors make their stuff. Then you don’t have to worry about it.
