Kurtis asked:

Is rubbing alcohol and mineral oil nonpolar?? Because water is polar and the wax paper is nonpolar, it doesn’t stick to the paper. Polar molecules are only attracted to other polar molecules and vise versa for nonpolar molecules right?

The wax is strongly polar and wont stick to fall in it might but mineral oil think itll also polar and would be more of the wax very small contact angle not sure about dissolving.
