mittens asked:
My 18 month old loves to drink Mineral water (sparkling- like San Pelgrino etc..).
I remember reading somewhere that it is bad but I can’t remember why or at what age you can allow it.
He drinks a lot of tap water so it is more of an added extra that he really enjoys. He also likes still mineral water.
Is it ok to give him?

Hiya
Don’t worry too much about it - my 17 month old loves any type of water, but he especially loves drinking water out of a “sports cap” bottle - I think its ‘cos it looks all grown up!
So heres what i do - I refill the bottles with tap water and keep them in the fhe thinks its mineral water!
I try not to give him too much sparkling water as it makes him gassy, but I don’t think theres too much wrong with letting himhave it now and then!
