Is carbonation bad for your teeth in mineral water?

I feel like I’ve heard “soda’s bad for your teeth because it’s carbonated, stay away from carbonated beverages”
but I also think that the only thing I’ve read about why soda makes cavities so fast is it’s acidity and sugar content.
So what about mineral water?
