Does water have a taste or is it absent of taste? minus mineral water because you are tasting the minerals?

I have been having this long debate forever now, and everyone that I ask sure enought i get some that say yes water has a taste, and the rest that say water taste like nothing absent of taste. What do you think.

      My opinion is typically tastless you dont choose to taste of it needs to have flavor water in my opinion is typically tastless you cant even discribe the taste.
